The Psychonauts bringen seit Herbst 2009 mit ihrem ureigenen “Hoochie Coochie Trash’a’Billy”-Sound jeden Saal zum beben.
Ihre explosive Mischung aus 50’s Rockabilly, 60’s Garage Trash, 70’s Punk und 80’s Psychobilly klingt, also ob sie “from outer space” kommt. Tatsächlich aber kommen The Psychonauts aus Basel (CH) und haben sich nach den Patienten des Basler LSD Entdeckers Albert Hofmann benannt.
Schon bald nach der Bandgründung spielte das Trio zusammen mit Psychobilly Legenden wie DEMENTED ARE GO, MAD SIN, THE FRANTIC FLINTSTONES, THE KLINGONZ und vielen anderen.
Tremendous T. (Vox/Guitar), Caruso (Bass) und Oily (Drums) sind alle seit vielen Jahren in der Szene tätig und wissen was Sache ist.

Since autumn 2009, The Psychonauts have quaked venues with their “Hoochie Coochie Trash’a’Billy” sound.
Their explosive mix between 50’s Rockabilly, 60’s Garage Trash, 70’s Punk and 80’s Psychobilly sounds like it may have come from outer space. But The Psychonauts actually hail from Basel (Switzerland) and have taken their name from the patients of the discoverer of LSD, the Basler Albert Hofmann.
Soon after the band formed they were playing with such Psychobilly legends as: Demented Are Go, Mad Sin, The Frantic Flintstones, The Klingonz among others.
Tremendous T. (Vox/Guitar), Caruso (Bass) and Oily (Drums) have been on the scene for many years and know what’s what.
Their live show is especially impressive, consisting of original material and a couple of cover versions of Rockabilly classics, enhanced by their own unique style.
